My name is Lindsay Theodore, 21 years old. I am a senior in the Industrial Distribution Program at Eastern Michigan University concentrating in Pharmaceutical Sales and a first time member of P.A.I.D. this semester. I plan on graduating in December 2010.

Eric Ouellette I joined the Industrial Distribution program in winter of 2008 after a 4 year tour with the Marine Corps. In the military my occupational specialty entailed supply chain management, logistical coordination and inventory management, so this program was a great fit for my past experiences, which was quite appealing. The Industrial Distribution program has taught me many valuable lessons that I have seen put to work in the actually industry, it is quite rewarding to see things come to life (in industry) that you learned in the classroom. One year into the program I gained an internship with National Food Group, a frozen food distributor to correctional facilities, schools and senior feeding programs. The fact that I was studying within the College of Technology for the Industrial Distribution program was quite appealing to my employer and it has proved to pay off for both of us. I am now anticipating graduation in
April of 2010 and have recently been offered a full time sales position within the company. I would venture to say that none of this would have been possible without the valuable tools I’ve gained within the program. I highly recommend anyone who is seeking a recession proof career in an exciting and ever changing environment, to check out what the Industrial Distribution program can do for you.
